DIRT ALERT
CONTROL
Consists of a motor starter, voltage conversion transformer, status light,
all component/control wiring, one sensor with piping tee, and operating
controls. Used as a backflush signal control, this system sensor is
adjustable and monitors liquid supply through the filter. When supply liquid
flow drops below the backflush setpoint (approximately 50% of clean flow) the Dirt
Alert lights a red DIRTY light on the front of the enclosure. This indicates
that it is time to backflush the filter.

PUMP PROTECTION CONTROL
Consists of a motor starter, voltage conversion transformer, status light,
all component/control wiring, one sensor with piping tee. and operating
controls. Used as a flow loss control, this pump sensor is adjustable and
monitors liquid supply through the pump. If it detects a significant drop in
supply liquid, it signals the control to stop the pump. Upon start-up, an
amber running light is energized showing that the system is operating. When
flow drops below the setpoint of the sensor (approximately 10% of normal
flow), it triggers a flow loss which stops the pump.

FILTER SENTINEL CONTROL
 A multi-purpose control which
provides start/stop control of the filter pump, pump protection (from dry
running), and indication when the filter should be backflushed. It also has the
capacity to provide remote indication of filter problems.
It also provides for the addition of external sensors to stop or prevent
starting the filter pump when abnormal conditions arise. The Filter Sentinel Control
consists of a motor starter, status lights,
two sensors with piping attachment, and operating controls. It also contains
prewired terminals for optional external sensors and indicators. The system
monitors liquid supply entering the filter system. At an adjustable setpoint,
it will light an amber DIRTY light, alerting personnel that the filter
should be backflushed. There is also a NORMAL light which is activated when
the filter is energized and a no flow light which is activated when the
filter is receiving insufficient flow, at which point the pump stops and the
alarm sounds.
